I had that kit in my hand! Didn't ask how much Glad someone here got it. For $50 it's worth trying out.

I'very been looking at hydraulic clutch setups for a bit. But, at $300+, have been hesitant to pull the trigger.

That's a Hugh's Handbuilt setup. Do some reading on it. He discontinued it a while back but has all the info up on it.

Ah, seems like it was a popular set up when he was selling the kit himself.

I had been looking at some Magura set ups for the bike, but they're pricey. This one, for $25 for it, with a what looks brand new side cover was an easy choice. I was surprised it made it until Saturday morning. Next up, install some heavy duty clutch springs, and get some wheels ordered for the bobber conversion.

You can buy the on eBay as Chinese dirt bike clutch cylinders. I think I have 2 somewhere in the workshop. They are about $35. So $25 with a side cover is a score! Nice find man.

Finally got a compression tester while diagnosing a friends accord misfire...Got readings of 220, 210, 120, and 180. Wet test on the 120 cylinder brought compression to 180. Lol guess I found the issue. Now i cant stop compression testing random things like my lawnmower and weed whacker.

Met a guy to sell some GT750 parts at a gas station. While I was there a very very American guy came over and said he had an old KZ1000 he needed out of his garage. Next thing I know this is back at my house. Pistons are stuck so it's sitting with some marvel mystery oil to see if I can't brake them free, but it's all there, and it was the best price. Ended up being a 77 which is just another bonus. No room for another project so I'll likely just flip it to fund another.

these just in i was down to one small size and it is worn
so i sniped this vintage grade starret set of telescoping snap gauges
these are what you use when the calipers won't reach deep enough or you need more accuracy
i know more than a few of you dont need this info but
to measure a hole size, they be spring loaded, you snap them open just larger than the hole then with them snugged up you rock them thru an arc with a gentle feel,done right with practice you get an accurate size of the hole that you then transfer to numbers by reading with a micrometer
great for reading wear on old parts and for sizing new stuff during fabrication

Haha xb, I saw an ENGINEER at the tool and die shop I used to work out use telescoping gauges, then use a tape measure to read across them. Then he claimed that he could measure that way within .005" with a tape measure graduated in 1/16ths.

Anyways, nice score!
