Hey guys - any recommendations for places to get some work done in the central NJ area? Just lost my garage space and I really want to take advantage of this riding season. Most of the shops I've encountered won't work on older bikes or are HD-centric.
I've got a 72 Honda CB350 and an 81 Suzuki GS750E. Both run, they could just run a bit better. I've done what I can but I could use a bit of expert touch on these. My girl will most likely be piloting the 350 after she gets her license so her safety weighs a bit more on my conscious than my own.
The CB seems to need some timing/carb sync adjustment (and hopefully not another cleaning) - been trying to smooth out a hanging idle with no avail. The GS750 is new to me - I can tell front fork seals are in order at the very least. Possibly some carb work as well.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated - be it a legit shop or your friend's brother's uncle that does some side work in his garage. Maybe the latter cause it sounds cheaper... I'm a bit south of New Brunswick but could travel a bit - the closer the better.
Also, any NJ rides going down soon? All I keep seeing is old dudes on Harleys...
