Retro fitting a Master Cylinder

My 1983 GSX750 had a fall while stationary and it broke the master cylinder lever mount and i'm finding it hard to get another cylinder to rebuild as the mount needs to be a certain size. So i was wondering who has retro fitted a master cylinder from a newer bike to their own bike?

My master cylinder has a 5/8 bore with a 10mm banjo bolt plus a rh thread mirror mount.

Anything except Yamaha (because they run a LH thread for the mirror mount). You can run a remote reservoir from a newer sports bike - you just need to work out a way to mount the reservoir. Otherwise, Bandit, CBR600/1000, etc will do the job.
