Suzuki GS400 tank on xs650 - fits others as well

XS650RR

Go'n In Deeper ... Come'n Out Harder
The Suzuki GS400 tank will work with most single tubed frames. Here is an example on a XS650. These tanks you can find on ebay... very cheap. They look right at home ;D

Re: CB500T tank on CB550K/F

Heres a pic of my old TT500 Yamaha dirt bike that I did a lot of work on
Its got a GS400/450 tank that fitted with minimal work
I made the seat,a much modified Ducati 450 item, & the fairing is my copy of late 60's Rickman one
The front end was modded 19" Suzuki & the Commando muffler sits on a home made header pipe
I also made the rearsets & fitted a Mikuni tm36 flatslide carb
This bike ran strong, sounded great & was sometimes a bitch to start!

Wouldn't take that on the dirt now...
eurodave, I have a feeling those 3 aren't your only bikes... Am I right?

All 3 are beauties.

I just picked up a 79 XT 500 a few days ago. I haven't been able to start it yet.
Idle daydreams are to turn it into a street tracker.
