Gonna need some mounting tabs welded onto frame sooner or later. I don't have access to, or know anyone with a welder.
Anybody know of a dude with the goods is Sydney?

If you want certification welding and are willing to travel to the wilds of Kirrawee I can recommend someone ...

Crazy

that's in the3 shire area??
i could pull this off if i can hustle my mate up to drive me there in his ute. i might not be able to pull this off but if you don't mind crazy, i'd take his details just in case. i just noticed that a loop on my exhaust is also rusting off. i don't need major work but rather lots of annoying little bits and bobs.

hey neevo, i'm practically in the city area round surry hills but the bike is in a warehouse at botany.

I'm way out west, a shitty TIG welder, but happy to help if you get stuck (just cover the cost of the gas).

cheers guys. hope to tackles this on my holidays..
neevo, where abouts west are you located??

I hate to revive and old thread, but I didn't think starting a new thread would be good either :p

I live in the Northern Beaches - there wouldn't happen to be anyone nearby who could help me weld a tail hoop and a couple of tabs onto a CB750 frame?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm in Penrith, always happy to help anyone out. Little gas money is all I ask if its big jobs.

how are you at wiring neevo hahaha i may be in need of a hand soon if you know anyone?

Not too bad, again happy to help if I can. Wiring up my wireless ignition so know a bit, not doing a whole rewire but I think I could handle that too with a bit of time.

I am in the middle of replacing my controls and will definitely shoot you a pm if I go with after market or different controls as I'm two minds about spending 260+ on a NOS or OEM set or using the cm250 and cb250rs set I have lying around.

Nearly all my mods have been driven by cost believe it or not. Exceptions are rims and shock.

I bought r1 parts for controls as they were significantly cheaper than oem. The modern design fits the style the bike is going too.
