Holy crap, the parts and rims are powder coated! It matches the paint perfectly. Not a good pic, but gives an idea.

That's a very smart bike dttat....good colour choices and pinstriping pops....I'm a fan of brownz and striping and will have subtle stripes on my CBX.

The overall style is what I am looking to achieve.....good to see how it all ties in.

Side panel number roundels work well, I might use punched sheet for the triangulated panel with a roundel fitted.

Here's my striped Beetle....I'm matching the bike to it, but using orange instead of red and going brown/graphite on the tank.

Thanks NoR. I'm taking the seat back to have it redone in a dark distressed brown leather bc I think it is too contrasting. Hard to tell in these pics as not much sun was out today but the white has 2/3 blue and 1/3 green pearl sprayed in. This is where the blue (light) and green (lime) pinstripe idea came from. Matching the powder was a bi*^h.
I knew a lot of peeps in Tucson who had bugs, still love the air cooled beasts.
The brown/graphite should come off nice also, especially with red stripin.
