Want to learn: Chautauqua area

jacobperkins

Buy the ticket, take the ride.
I'm 18 and the new owner of a '78 GS750. I don't know very much about motorcycle mechanics, but I'm very interested and really want to learn. Maybe even to the point where I could consider it as a job possibility in the future. But at least enough to do work on my own bike(s).

Does anybody know of any people/places where I could gain the knowledge and experience. I live in Jamestown, NY. The Chautauqua area. Roughly a couple hours south of Buffalo and roughly three hours north of Pittsburgh.

Any info. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

buy an old engine and tear it apart get a manual and put it back together. you will learn alot just like that. Heck i am.

I'm no master of anything (maybe of bullshitting) by I've learned everything I know from sites like this, watching tech videos on youtube and trying everything myself

Those are two suggestions I've seen a lot. Both of which I plan on taking advantage of.
