Well I dragged a new wreck home yesterday...

Yesterday I picked up my (free) 1978 Honda Gl1000. It's pretty rough right now, as the p.o. hacked off the rear subframe. But the engine is supposed to be good and my plans are to reattach the rear sub-frame or to fabricate a new one to fit a comfy seat. This is going to be the cruiser/tourer to haul the wife around on. But I've still got to finish Dolores and then Rob's bobber before I can get started on this one.

Always wanted one of these... I just imagined it being in better shape!

Yeah hoosier... I've been thinking about that. It might end up being the way I go. There's plenty of equipment for these things, so I could outfit it easily with a new frame.
