Where to get Mikuni Vm30's

Hey just wondering if anyone knows of a reliable vendor that has Mikuni Vm30's in stock? I tried to go through Partzilla but they took my money, pushed back the order 3 times over 2 months before finally telling me they couldnt get any in. I'm pretty sure dimecity have them but its nuts at $75 shipping to get them to Australia

Parts Unlimited and Sudco supplies them to a lot of vendors. PU lists 3 dealers in Australia.

Yeah I've checked amazon, some look like fake copies, and even the genuine ones don't provide shipping to Australia. From what partzilla have told me (which is also likely to be bullsh*t) most vendors get their stock directly from a mikuni USA rep and then ship the product on, So i've emailed a few places to make sure they actually have them in stock before ordering another pair.

$75 to Oz sounds pretty reasonable. Most things ship in to me in Sydney in a flat rate box which is $65. Carbs are quite large, especially if there are 4 of them.

I am sure even with the $75 its still a whole chunk of change cheaper than buying locally!

Im only looking for 2x, they're for my xs400 build. Yeah I've been quoted $149 each from a place in sydney which is a little cheaper than dimecity. I've spammed a bunch of places with emails so i'll see whats the best pick i suppose

Mikuni only manufactures specific amounts and they generally don't raise production. It is normal for vendors to run out of certain models unfortunately.

Yeah I've figured thats the case. Now im just trying to anywhere that actually has them in stock so a repeat of the partzilla saga doesnt occur. Not keen to wait another 2 months to get these

i may have a pair of used ones, of course they need going thru but they would be a good srtarting point for cheap
and they can be shipped for about 25$

Cheers I'll keep that in mind, half the reason why im set on a new set of these is that I have a jetting guide for 400cc that should get me in the ballpark by just changing the main and pilot. Apparently the throttle slide and needle that these ship with from factory are not far off what I'll need, possibly just have to move the clip position as well

I got mine from speedmotoco.com they will jet them for each individual bike/area. they also have good throttle cable that can be used with original throttle sleeve set up. and they sell the k&n style filters with them, not the cheapo pod filters that are bad for your bike. they also send fuel line, fuel filter and a splitter for fuel line. also came with new boots.

it's a great place to get fully set up vm30's. they are very polite on the phone.
