Carbs on these bikes are super shitty. If you can get it running, leave it that way and let someone with a love for the machine work out the kinks. I can't remember exactly which model it is, but one of the Triumph Triple carbs are a straight swap.

I've read the same, but the clientele that will likely buy this bike, (im hoping for around $1500) will likely do more so based on how it looks vs what carbs its running. I dont think there would be enough return on that investment, unless i pull these apart and they are to far gone or something.
