Yoshimura Rubber Exhaust Strap - Cannot find :(

I have a pair of new Yoshimura R-77 exhausts for my custom project:

These were bought at a cracking price in Australia as the local distributor went out of business... Good news for me :)

Unfortunately this meant no local distributor and this would be my undoing when it came to fit the exhausts up. I popped the exhaust clamps on the exhausts (a metal strap with a rubber insert) and one of the rubber inserts split down one side... ballsack!

I cannot get any spare parts locally and emails to the US Yoshimura arm yielded no response.

Anyone know where I can buy a couple of these rubber inserts?

Happy to pay a finders fee if someone can help me out.

Here is a similar strap, although my can isn't oval, it's a funny squarish 5 sided design but the principal is the same:

Cannot find a part # anywhere.

So you mean to tell me that you can build a whole bike but can't glue rubber to a piece of steel!? ;)

Seriously though a nice looking hose clamp should work no? With some thin rubber underneath?

I have the clamp bit but not the rubber. The clamp is not rounded as the cans are angled so a regular clamp won't work plus I would prefer the genuine rubber strap as it has the holes etc too... Looks a bit more pro.

I will have a chat to some bike stores locally too and see if anyone has picked up the reins for Yoshimura.

I may have assumed too much about local availability (you know what they say about assumptions and asses). Whilst the local distributor went bust in 2010 it turns out parts and new stock is still available for purchase... Silly me for not asking a local store.

Given them the part number of the total system and hopefully they can track down a rubber strap for me.
