I run a 8 cell Anti Gravity battery on my 75' CB550. It is mounted laying down under the tank. Roc City made the alloy tank for me just for that purpose. I was going to use the 4 cell battery, which is the size of an iPhone, but the manufacturer Was a little iffy about the application.

They shrink up enough overnight in order to work with. I usually stick them in the freezer as well to help things . I usually use small dabs of white grease in the corners to help keep them set. Wipe off the excess before installing. No reason to replace those.

I wouldn't worry too much about those compression numbers. They really don't look that bad. If you a compression test on a bike that's been sitting for a long time, those readings will probably change (for the better) after you put a few miles on it anyway. I would adjust the valves, which...

Sorta like this one? I would guess DCC fabbed the whole fender like I did. I found a steel fender at a local MC shop, and trimmed it to the size I wanted. Then fabbed up a bracket and welded a mount to my swingarm.
