    shaky bar end mirror help

Ok, cool, thanks...good ideas, Swagger. I dunno how much sand will get thru at the bends where the welds are on the bars, but it's definitely worth a go. Yup, the bars are rubber mounted. I also tried mounting the mirror with a rubber gasket between the bar end and the base which screws into...

    shaky bar end mirror help

Howdy gang. I need me some tips on getting my bar end mirror from vibrating like, well, a vibrator. The damn thing looks mighty sharp dangling off the end of my clubman bars, but entirely useless coz it's so shaky...all I see is a blur in the mirror when the throttle is twisted anything over...

What's this, need to synch your carbs, but have no funds for a vacuum guage?

You could use it for a 4 cylinder, Ex. Go down the line...synch the 1st and 2nd carb to each other, then the 2nd to the 3rd, finally the 3rd to the 4th. You may have to go back and forth a few times between the carbs to get it all even. Just be sure to cap off 2 ports at a time while...

What's this, need to synch your carbs, but have no funds for a vacuum guage?

Yes, obviously it's not a new idea, but I figured posting it would be of help to somebody as it did work out quite well for me. Hey JR, wass going on, dude. I posted an intro on Half Fast, saw your post there. How's that honda twin cafe/bobber coming 'long?

What's this, need to synch your carbs, but have no funds for a vacuum guage?

Hey dude. You should have two small hollow posts, protruding from either each carb, or from the joints that hook them onto the engine. More than likely, one is capped while the other one's got the fuel petcock vacuum line going to it. Unplug the vacuum line, and run your tank on prime to get...

What's this, need to synch your carbs, but have no funds for a vacuum guage?

Store bought gauge? We don't need no steeenkin' store bought gauge, haha! You could indeed make one from crap laying around the house, yo. And, if you spend more than a buck or two (for the hose, for instance), you went over budget, young feller. You'll need a length of hose, clear is best...

    jet needles, Yamaha XS360

Howdy Tim. Well, that's the weird part, on a yamaha board, a dude there posted the mikuni specs number from a haynes manual. When I googled the number, the only reference was back to that thread. I also looked up the part on a yamaha parts list from a schematic, again, nothing on a google...

    jet needles, Yamaha XS360

Anybody know of a source for jet needles for an XS360? It's got Mikuni carbs, same carbs as on an XS400, but I hear the needles and jets are all sized different. I tried the Mikuni website, visited some of their distributor websites, alas not much luck.

Hey dude, wass going on. Naw, I thought about it earlier, but I don't see how that divet could be reached from inside the tank, at least not by going at it from the gas cap hole. Anyways, all that cosmetic shit is on the backburner (except for a bar-end mirror that's in the mail), as I've got...

Yeh? I was wondering about that, thought I'd end up having to bondo and repaint, if anything.
