Hi Sonic/All others with a Hardinge Cataract Lathe
That's a fine restoration you have there. Hope it's earned its keep.
The reason for this message so late in the day is that I recently (2018) acquired a BB47 version of the Cataract Hardinge Lathe. It is complete with the exception of a couple of items i.e. a set of headstock control levers (external to the headstock) with their shaft (Speed and brake) and the cam/lifter that operates the brake stirrup (inside the headstock).
Would you or anyone else have fotos of these items?
I look forward to a reply - am happy to open up a new thread if that helps.
Regards
Casimir
PS I'm located in the UK and suspect that the lathe came over during WW2.
