1971 CB500 Four 4 engine $500 -Chicago

[ILLPrimoMarc]

I recently purchased a 1971 CB500 roller/project/basket case that came with a spare engine.

Engine turns over fine, will check the compression soon and post up numbers.

Here is the CL link that has pics and contact info.

So you're selling everything for $500? Or you think you're gonna get $500 for just the roll-of-the-dice engine? Dunno about where you're at, but in most places you won't get $500 for a basket case CB500 unless it sparkles. And I'm guessing you won't get that here, but perhaps someone will prove me wrong?

Would you like to make me an offer on it?

No thanks. Starting price high, I'm not working on a 550 or 500, and don't live in your area, but good luck and depending on condition $200 wouldn't be all that bad.
