Hi Everyone

This is my first post on DTT. I've been scouring through the wealth of info on this forum and decided to start a build thread for a couple reasons: added motivation to get this heap back on the road, and possibly help someone else who may encounter some of the same problems along the way. I've only taken a few pics so far. Progress has been slow, but steady...

Looking forward to seeing some more photos and posts; there are a few of us with the 350Fs around here.

I remember when seeing a 350f around here was almost like seeing a golden unicorn! Seems we have quite a crew now! So slow, what is your plans for this little singer?

I'm going for the minimalist cafe style: RCC tail, clip-ons, kick only with smaller battery, k&n pod filters, rearsets... I've made some more progress than what's pictured. I adapted some GSXR rearsets I had from my old track bike, and I converted the rear brake from rod to cable. Next on the list is to come up with a box/tray for the battery, rec/reg etc. I ordered the Hondaman ignition and a rear hoop from DCC and a couple other extras that'll be added. I'll post some new pics once I get home tonight.

Nice Start! I'm curious about those rear sets. Where did you get the mounts which wrap around the frame tube?

Thanks. I got the idea from this site... They're "1in universal frame clamps" from Dennis Kirk.

Will your kick start lever clear your rear sets and brake lever? Mine will not, but it looks like your pegs flip up. Mine will flip up too, but I will need to remove the return spring on the peg if I want to use the kicker.

Yeah it clears

Those rearsets look great...... think I will have to get some of those mounts. Looks good so far, just keep pluggin' away and it will be done by riding weather ;D ;D ;D .....

Thanks. I'd like to get it finished over the next few weeks... I'll settle for safe/rideable and overlook the cosmetic fluff for now

I haven't been able to work on this bike nearly as much as I had planned. I was able to do a bit before work this morning: started battery/electronics box, prepped DCC rear hoop to be mounted. Here are a couple pics in no particular order:
