I just bought a 1973 CB350G a couple days ago. After I got it home I started going through the steps to get this bike running for the first time in 8 months. I discovered that I have two problems, both concerning the petcock.
First problem: the petcock has two brass nipples that feed into fuel lines leading to each carb. There are see-thru fuel filters on each line, one of the filters has very little gas in it and the other is almost dry.
Second problem: The petcock is leaking from the faceplate. I disassembled it and cleaned all the gaskets, made sure everything was screwed back on tight and it is still leaking!
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
