volthause said:I got the fork tubes from cycle exchange. I think they were about $150 for the pair. Definitely had to get rid of the rusty ones. The old headlight mounting ears on had let in so much water over the years on mine that they looked unsafe.
The rear shocks are Boge units that I picked up many years ago to replace the rusted stock chrome shocks. They were fairly inexpensive.

Quick question on your rear cover. Is there enough room for clearance of the tire under full compresesion of the shocks if you bottom out to not catch rear seat? I'd hate to see something happen down the road. I had something similar and almost overlooked it when I was putting a cross brace in mine.
