1974 Honda CB350f Cafe Build

I traded a free boat I had got, for this 1974 Honda CB350f.

Before.( Not actual before pic, but its pretty close.)



Teardown.



Frame, front end cleaned and painted.

Guage rebuild (I forgot to take a before of speedo, so I used a pic of tach before) also there is some dirt on lense I have to crack back open and clean off.




Engine clean up



Tank Painted, (Best $100 ever spent!)

Lacing and truing up wheels after powder coating.





Drilled my front rotor



Front tire (Firestone vintage champions Deluxe) and mounted front wheel, Custom rear sets mocked up, and new rear shocks mounted.

Engine reinstalled.




Still have to reinstall wiring harness, lights, cables, bob the rear fender, carbs, and a lot of misc, but this is a rough mock up.

Sure looks like a quality job so far... except... I have reservations on your tire choice. :
That little 4 is such a fun bike to toss around the curves, your vintage tires will be the weakest link in an otherwise VERY enjoyable ride.

So far it's very nice looking work...Those bikes really are fun on a twisty road, but I agree with Hoosier's tire recommendation...they may be one of the worst choices for a tire out there...if you insist on using them, I wouldn't recommend anything close to aggressive riding.

I live in texas, we dont have twisties down here haha. This bike is pretty much a work and back ride, so I can keep the miles off my truck. I love the look of the Firestones, and didnt really care about aggresive cornering. If I want to do that I'll take out the Cobra with the Goodyear Billboards on it
