Hey guys,
If you need a replacement muffler for an XL175 a stock Suzuki Dr200 muffler is a great candidate.
You need the high style header pipe that came on the XL175 from 1976 to 1978.
When my stock muffler rusted out I was looking at $200+ for a POS rusty, stock muffler on ebay.
Instead I got a DR200 muffler for free.
I had to move the exhaust side dual shock out with spacers and longer bolts for clearance.
I also made some custom exhaust hangers/mounts, no welding required. The bends on the stock dr200 exhaust are almost perfect. Also the jetting was spot on and the dr200 muffler even flows a little better in my opinion.
In my opinion this is your best option if you just want a rider, and not a show bike. cheap and effective.
