1980 cb750 -> can I replace the tank?

Hi All,

I've been offerred an 1980 CB750 in decent condition. In looking at it, the bike looks like one of the early cross over years where the tank extends down. Does anyone know if I can retro-grade an older tank and seat on the frame without having to weld anything?

Hey Man,

I believe that an early model cb750f tank should fit but you are gonna have to loose the stock seat and side covers
