1980 Gs550 Engine WANTED

I recently bought a 1980 Suzuki GS550 for $500. The engine turned over at the time I bought it. I opened it up and discovered the bike had been run with no oil. Cams were scarred, cylinder walls scarred, and anything else you can imagine.

I NEED a replacement motor!!
I'm located in North Georgia USA and willing to travel to the surrounding states.
If you have a scrap bike , motor, or know anyone that does, please notify me.

I have a gs550 motor, but I'm all the way up in Buffalo, NY. would take $250 for it picked up, if you can't find anything closer I can get leakdown numbers for you and look into shipping somehow.

Great! can you post pictures? I have come across one in North Florida and they want 300 for it.
I am trying to see which one would be better to start off with.
