5/16 ball for clutch on CB350

Been Around the Block
Anyone know where I might be able to find one of these? It is part number 21 in this picture.

Any decent automatic transmission rebuilding shop will have 5/16" ball bearings, as they are used as check balls in the valve body.
 
I found the ball I needed, but when I put it on the bike the left cover where the clutch cable goes in cant be shut all the way? I go the 5/16" ball that is says on honda's website when I look up the part, but it seems too big. Anyone know what might be goin on?
 
did you install the clutch cover with the 3 ball retainer set all the way back? maybe there was already a ball in there and you put in a second one?
 
The original ball is still in there, they tend to hide in the grease, so now you have two in there causing the side cover to not go on.

If this is not the case, can you measure the new one to see if its the correct size?

Someplace that sells marine grade red bronze bolts. And hardened stainless bolts. Oh, and tools that are not made in China, Korea or Taiwan. Braided electrical wiring and cloth electrical tape.

And a lunch counter with something besides hot dogs, Red Bull and Starbucks... guess i need to move back to WA and shop at McClendon's exclusively, again.
 
...dude, I build motorcycles. I don't see how anything that you just listed could possibly be more relevant than color-correct xanadu and razzmatazz.

I guess the old one is still in, but I just can't get it out to check. I was riding around the neighborhood the other day trying to test my bike and the arm that the clutch cable attaches to bent and disconnected the cable though. So, new problem now...

Exactly what I said whenI took off the cover and saw what happened. I haven't gotten to ride this bike for more then a year, and now that I finally got it all put together and ready, all the small shit like that keep happening.

Haha true. It wouldn't be so bad if I hadn't totaled my other bike. I just want to freakin ride!
