If you cut one piece of metal on that bike I will personally hunt you down like the dog you are.

Beautiful bike man... Can wait to see the completed product

Wow! That is one nice bike. The bomber is one of my favorite all time bikes! Keep the pics coming ... can't wait to see how your project progresses.

Believe me guys a torch or cutting wheel will never leave my boxes or even come close to this one.
I'm fully aware of the pedigree the CB450K0 Bombers carry and will stay as true as I can to what
rolled off the factory floor. That being said, the unfortunate part of this Bomber is that the rear fender
is the only thing that has the original paint on it and it is very tired and I'd be worried about the colour
match after the other grey parts are sprayed. Even if they are painted with the proper paint code the
paint on the rear fender is 42 years old. So all the tins and the frame are going out for a fresh coat.
I'll take care of most of the rest of it myself. Can't commit to a 100 point resto right now but I'm
still picturing a nice bike that I will ride very often.
I'd really love and need to get this finished before spring or I'm afraid that it won't get done this year.

P.S. Is there anywhere that has paint codes from the 60's?

fantastic build man, my uncle use to rock a bomber in indiana when i was young growing up... ahh man i used to sit on it for hours and pretend to ride, ha ha ha, wnt back last year and searched every barn, garage, and MEMORY of my family down there for that bike... nothing... funny thing is there was NO bikes, ha ha ha all my cousins collected all the bikes and rebuilt them growing up, for some reason the bomber just seems to have vanished.... I htink you can have her done by spring man... cool build

*I dig the shop

i like the honda world sticker, it's a shame youre going to paint it out. you could get a replica made,

Great bike, how did you find it?

I think your idea of a close to original restoration is the way to go with a piece like this.
