69' cl350 forks

ive been lookin around for the measurment of the tubes so i can grab a set of clipons but i cant seem to find the info anywhere for my specific bike. the tubes are funky and taper toward the top and i was debating about swapping them out along with the top crown with a more common set of tubes which do not taper....mostly for easier mounting of the headlight and bars closer to the top of the crown (higher postion)..... shouldnt be horrible expensive to do. the legs could be swapped out for an newer cb/cl year for like 30 bucks on ebay and im guessing i could reuse the steering tube and bottom clamps and just replace the top trees....yeah? thanx

Yes. The bottom tree is the same. 70 and up fork legs and a top tree and youre in buisness. The forks tubes are 33mm by the way. Also, if you replace them, Id like to buy the 69 fork legs and top tree. Let me know, thanks.

aight, perfect, im going to work on getting the frame situated and ill get back to you in a couple weeks on the forks, ill take some pics and throw them up in a day er two. and as far as price goes, ill take a look and throw you a number unless uve got an idea of the market on em. as well, ive got the ears and the original headlight that im swapping out for a smaller one so you are more than welcome to take advantage of those as well. the headlight rim has some odd corrosion which i had a hard time buffing out, so i just painted the whole thing black. cheers cheers
