I just bought new bushings for the swing arm and lower shock mount rubbers.
Can I use a press to get the old ones out? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Press out the shock bushings and you will probably need to score the inside of the swingarm bushings with metal cutting blade in a jig or reciprocating saw and then pry them out with a screwddriver of small chisel. They have a tight tolerance and can be a bitch to remove. Good luck and post your results.

Thanks, I'll give that a try. Do I use heat to get the new ones in?

Heat will help, but more importantly use a heavy press (after paint or powdercoating the swing arm if you chose to do so). Check the ID (internal dimensions) of the new bushings once they are pressed in. If the ID is too small the bolt will be difficult to push in and you may need to lightly hone or sand the bushings to fit the swing arm bolt. If I remember correctly there should be a zerk grease fitting on that swing arm and if not, now is the time to drill, tap and install one.
