Thats funny because i want rear sets and to do a 2in1 "scrambler" style exhaust with heatshield of corsetrek97 said:The biggest reason not to lower the bars...is it leads to the need for rearsets, Cause your knees are in your nose.
Then rearsets... They wont fit with the exhaust. so on....etc etc its a big snowball.
Then you make a custom exhaust. then new mufflers...
then 4 years later you built my bike. and NOBODY want that. :![]()
Im on a dangerous path hahaThose look great, i might need the slight raise in the rear to help with the hoop clearance. Lmk what springs you find to go with them.xb33bsa said:i have a set of eye to clevis 13-3/8" long konis .the springs on them now would be too heavy but i can dig through what i have proly can set the up lighter
they are great shocks 4 damping settings, nice smooth action, rebuildable...
Wow only 214 a pair for the Hagons! Thats without spring right? Thought they were out of my reach... gonna look into the konis too. Both seem like a cheaper alternative to progressive and something not everyone and their mom has.trek97 said:+1 lol Yes, as I said you may want to check out tracker bars or even keep the stock bars. Tarozzi makes bars w 1" and 2" of rise also. They will be more comfy. But might look a little silly, pushed up above the top. as compared to trackers w 2" rise.
I just installed a pair of Hagon shocks. Ive only ridden once since, damned snow. But they seem to be pretty dreamy compared w cheap shit shocks.
www.davequinnmotorcycles.com Dave is great to work with, builds and sets them up specifically for your bike and you.
