'75 cb200t cafe build

This is a really great build, someday when I have the time and resources i'll tear down mine and do some similar things, especially the custom framing to facilitate the badass air filters. The cb200 air filters are a pain in the dick to put on/ clean/ do anything to.

I sanded and buffed the tank and tail, pretty satisfied with them. I ordered a set of clutch discs today and made a list of remaining parts to pick up. I forgot to paint the fender brace last week but i'll get that when it warms up a bit. Hopefully in a week or so the engine will be on the bench.

Thanks Von,
I dropped my tank and tail off at the hotrod shop to be pin striped, he is also going to paint my dad's old race number on the tail. Dad doesn't know this, think he'll like it. I got the engine on the bench and tore off the left cover and removed the starter. Measured up to make a starter block off plug. I am thinking about the seat covering and getting some ideas there. Also making a run to the store tomorrow to pick up some stainless hardware to get some things bolted on. Time to get rolliing...

I got the tank and tail pin striped from my friend Dennis, turned out sweet. I am really loving that gold color i wasn't too sure about previously. I made some aluminum axle spacers last night for fun. I'm going to work on a starter block off plug tonight. Progress, but slow

Stik - any chance you could knock out a couple of those block off plugs? I'd love one for my 200 and one for the 360. I think the holes are the same size.

Sorry Stik, I've been pretty quiet lately. But the bike is looking great.

Did you find out if the 175 clutch plates are the same?

Thanks guys for the nice words! Diesel, i just ran out of my 2" aluminum so i'm probably not going to be making any extra stuff, sorry dude.
I found some 200 clutch plates Rich, I ordered a bunch of stuff and can't remember where they are coming from. I'll have some pics of the assembled roller in the next week or two. Kinda resembles a bike once again!

Ok, so the chassis is pretty much complete, need to put the fender back on and get the seat covered. Last night I polished the aluminum throttle and started sanding on the cases. Waiting for gaskets and cables. I should be putting the clutch in and top end together in a week or two. I made a starter plug and put the aluminum axle spacers on.

I will be putting stainless cap screws on where I can as far as hardware goes.
