undanvind New Member Jan 8, 2014 #1 Just bought a 1975 CB500Four wich hasn't been used for a couple of years. When I pull the clutch, the handle stays in and does not spring back. What could this be, bad clutch cable or something else in the engine?

My vote is either lube the inside of the cable with a tool like this and the proper lube: http://www.motionpro.com/motorcycle/partno/08-0182/ Any good bike dealership will have one of these for sale along with cable lube.
