77 RD400 running issues

I purchased this bike a few weeks ago and trying to get it running strong before modifying the look.
Setup:
DG heads
DG exhaust
Electronic ignition
New plugs
Fresh rebuilt carbs

It sat for a year or so before I bought it. It kinda ran ok. Then I installed the ignition, new plugs and rebuilt the carbs. Now the left cyl runs great all the time and the right cyl runs great when it wants to. Next I was going to replace the coils. Any other suggestions?

Have you done the timing? Test those coils. Test compression.
