Does anyone out there know how to remove the floats on these carbs? Can't seem to un-fuck the pin that's holding them in.

I made a tool for this purpose out of a set of needle nose pliers I had in my toolbox. At some point I will weld a tiny stud into the drilled out hole, but for now I just use a cut off piece of a nail with the pointed tip on the rod. The pliers clamp around the post and you can safely press the rod out enough to get some pliers on it. Use some PB as well, always helps. I've broken a post on a mikuni before, so I made this up so that wouldn't happen again.

Cool. Just wanted to make sure that thing slides out somehow. Tried unhooking the spring that attaches to the float valve and the hinge, but no joy. I'll give that a run.
