I think it runs pretty damn good. I had a guy that has been a honda motorcycle mechanic for YEARS tune it. It bogs slightly in 5th gear when you get back on the throttle but that's about it. It pulls out of it. Nothing I can't live with. This bike is my first motorcyle so I can't compare. But it is fine for me. A friend of mine rode it (he's been riding for 30yrs) and he said its not bad at all.
