had a red 650 L 1981 .. most 550 parts are same , i swaped the small tank for 550 katana tank 5 gal bolted right on, even had fuel gauge.seat swaps out to...also if you find a donar e or g model 650 you can swap frt end triple clamps and all for dual disc brakes... and rear tire shaft wheel assy from g model will swap out and give you better high speed gearing and more sport tires for that size, but if you want the center stand swap that out also as diff hight ..good 115mph bike ..replace cluch plates is so easy ..750 carbs will not fit on as to wide...stock air box with out cover is ok just run threaded rod from behind battry through air box through center of high pro air filter to home made center plate. to hold filter.. foam filter and plastic cage suck
