A-65 DeadTail Restart

So the PO had these cables on but was using some little washers as stops with no recess, I fired up the lathe (parts bin) and turned these little gems out

Then I ordered dual inlets for it thinking I'd have a double petcock tank, so I modified to singe inlet with two electric plugs

Got a bunch of little stuff done today, I just wanted to get a throttle mocked up to start it and get it to run, still want to get a new one with the cable in the bars if I can make it work.

That is slick but still an outside device.

I ordered one of these, likely won't fit inside protaper bars but I will try and if close I'll buy the bit to drill out the bar end ???

My little Ti battery box turned out okay.

Just need to fab up a clamp for the brain box and add a set of strap brackets, I'm thinking up some cool ideas for that just need materials

It's the light that was on the springer when I got it so seems fitting... looking for a set of bars one of my buddies hand built then gave to me... maybe trying to kill me hahahha

Look at BMW /7 front fenders. They're glass. There's a $10 one on eBay if you want to repair, or two on there for $30.

Ya know, I have a ton of fond memories riding and pushing my brother on one very similar to that... may be the oldest I can reach back, broke my collar bone being pushed too fast and took a digger, hit something and high sided LOL

It's a 1930's Pal Superbike skip chain, only other photo the same color. Mine is in real good condition just rusty, dang thing has a solid cast front end 8)

Second chain came in, the China breaker bent and gave up like a dead mushroom haven't seen a pin that hard in awhile... dremmel grind and tap tap tap worked just as always.

Took the new harness apart and putting back with two circuits to ignition one for coils and one for electronics so I can start it up and run lights or not after running. Tested the new Wassell/Vape Electronic Ignition and getting a real nice blue spark, should hear it run before the weekend is over.

I need to get a single to double carb cable set these are so old you have cruise control when you don't want it, I like it to snap back like snapping turtle haha and the length needs to be customized for internal throttle anyway, some 45deg tubes at the carbs also.

All day shop cleaning, but got a Ti tach plug made took a run around it with the tig torch and embossed it. BSA tapped the bottom hole way off center but it will stop the drool.

Okay... so the Honda speedo has left the room and has been replaced by this little $20 Canadian/Roman Numerals unit... it is dead on another Honda unit that has both MPH and km/h so who gives a rats ass right nope not me.

Polished up a Ti washer for the mounting so I'll show that not so tricky' trick

Washers, drill press (drill any) and a rock sanding sponge, the rest you can figure out I'm sure.

And a little rainbow heat color for the unicorns in the audience
