A couple Michigan younglings

Hey guys, I'm Sean, 20, I come from SE Michigan. A couple buddies and I have been sweeping up some older Japanese bikes recently, pretty much has taken over our lives, aside from college, cars, work, skateboarding and snowboarding.

I bought my first real bike last year, A '74 Suzuki GT185. However, my motorcycle history started in 1999 with A Honda Z50R at ten years old, first swapped an XR70 engine, carb, and exhaust into that at age 13, and finally dropping A 150cc 4speed manual into it last year, with much further modifications done to handle it.
Not too long ago I bought A '72 Honda CB350, low miles, and in great shape, couldn't be any happier. My good friend got me into CB's, he is also A member on the forum. We have 7 friends (Ages 18-22) in the area with Vintage Japanese bikes being stripped, dropped, and loved over the winter. I do most of the work on all, having my minibike at an early age and a knack for building engines works out. Its an incredible feeling helping a friend bring home his new purchase and get it back on its feet.

Most of us live in Livonia/Westland, were always down to ride. We took A trip to the tip of Michigan over the recent season, I rode the RD350 some 800+ miles on that fiberglass seat and clubmans, it was A blast. Had a backpack full of oil, seven or eight hour ride.

The Z50R engine. GPX 150cc 4spd Dry Clutch, VM26, 16/30 Sprockets, Shitty Exhaust.

Attended an 1/8th mile minibike drag race, terrible boggy launch with the jetting I had at the time, 10.5@60mph on 8" tires. I've got A 10" setup in the works with different gearing than this video, shooting for under 10 seconds next year.

Hey bud i ride up in michigan about 4 - 5 times a year, we take the harleys though, leave from chicago and head up by copper mountain... you ever want to meet up for a scoot let me know, i will not be taking my cafe over 8 hours... maybe when i was a bit younger ha ha ha never thought i would say that!

Great to see more of us in SE MI!!! First I saw the Waterford Hills sticker on the helmet, then I see the Porsche at WHRRI (OTD?)... Awesome. I run OTDs out there occasionally, and also autocross a lot. Also into snowboarding...

For sure man, we rode along the coast of northern Michigan over the past summer, I can't think of many things better than those views.

Some updates on our CB's.

Mine. New hidden LED taillight, still need to add a half rear fender and get rid of the extra bullshit.

Matts. New seat, but still another new seat coming. Going 6v and de-tabbing very soon.
