Aftermarket Ignition Timing

I'm trying to help my buddy set his ignition timing on his CB750 DOHC. I've done points before and can work my way through Dyna ignition plates. This is something I've never seen before. There's no red or blue cables. Nothing I could even get a test light on. Does anyone know who makes this or know how to time it?

Finding the manufacture would be helpful enough, as I could probably find instructions online somewhere. Thanks guys.

I've learned that this is a "pulse generator." Is it possible to time these? Or is it a set-it-and-forget-it type thing?
