Air:Fuel gauges

3:1 improves torque a lot on GT750 but you do loose some top end which isn't a problem on a street bike with high bars, 135 is about as fast as you want to go ;)

RCC, yes you are correct it's wideband. I was being a little laconic there. A few more words might have been beneficial :-)

PJ, That was my thinking too ;-)

Crazy,
Funny you should say that. I came up with a spreadsheet to work out which pulses got to where when at different engine speeds and it gets complicated really fast. At some speeds the pulses are far enough apart for it to work more or less like a single pipe but once it gets on the pipe there are waves going every which way.

I know form the dyno what it did without optimizing anything and jetting was way off. I have modified the tailpipe and muffler arrangement which I expect will upset the mixture even more - especially at part throttle which is why I want to try this first and then I'll go back to the dyno to see if anything much changed.

The objective was massive torque up to say 6000 so that it explodes out of corners - not exploding as it goes down the road with a lean mixture!

That reminds me Crazy, look up Bromlech. They made a 3 into 1 years ago and claimed it made more power. Awesome, mellow sound from a Bromlech too.

No, I know what O2 sensors are and do.. I was curious to know how/where you plan on mounting them..

It can be fitted almost anywhere convenient in the exhaust. I'll mount it jut behind the collector in the first cone of the expansion chamber.

Oh ok.. I was figuring that. I had thought about it for my build, going with throttle bodies and injectors. But i don't think the electrical is up for it.. But looking forward to see how you use the sensors.
