Air Screw woes... HELP!

So, I'm rebuilding the carbs on my grandpa's 86 Honda Magna 700, and ran in to a problem. I am taking out the pilot air screws and one of them has a broken tip of the needle. The tip is stuck in the carb body, and I need to get it out (so I can adjust the mixture to sync the carbs). Any ideas on how to go about getting the little SOB out?? I'd rather not have to buy a new carb body, since this one works quite well. Thanks!

remove it from the rack,take it all apart, heat it up (the carb body) and bang it down hard on a hard surface hoping inertia will lodge it free

Tried heating it up and bashing it, no luck. Still that shiny piece of brass stuck in there. I found a used carb body on eBay for a decent price, I think I'm just gonna go that route.
