There has been a lot of discussion on those shocks, they are just the same as the RFY shocks with a different sticker on them. Read about them here:

General consensus has been that these TEC shocks are a better shock for the money:

The RFY isn't a bad shock, especially after it's been rebuilt properly. They aren't Ohlins either, but for budget shocks they work.

There are two available springs rates, for the RD (especially if thinned out) the 7mm wire is best. I've never seen the 330mm setup you've linked to, though I have had my hands on more than a few 320mm sets and a couple of 340mm sets. The 340mm set offers a good bit more travel than the 320mm. The additional travel is a good thing in most cases. Perhaps the 330mm is somewhere in between the two.

The TEC shock are very much the same, though perhaps slightly better. IMO, both the RFY and the TECs need a rebuild to get the best out of them. That said, the TECS are probably closer to using straight out of the box.

The TEC's have two available spring rates, 125lbs/inch and their HD springs at 140lbs/inch. Both of these are too stiff for a lightened RD and are way too stiff if you weigh less than 165lbs. The TEC spring rates for CB models, not RD's.

I should have said they are "the same RFY shock with a different label on them" instead of "they are just the same as". I'm so used to seeing the gold shocks with the black label and not these with the blue label.
While it has been mentioned several time that these are not a bad shock when rebuilt, it has been noted that the time and expense of rebuilding them is substantial enough that a good pair of Hagons could have been bought to begin with.

AW: Air shocks for RD

im currently restomodding my RD 250 for an everyday citycruiser.
will these shocks be any better than the original ones?

they look great.i dunno my travel yet.got to measure.is it good to use shocks with bigger/smaller travel and how will it affect the ridability of the bike?

I think lots have positive reviews of the RFY shocks, especially when compared to clapped out stockers.

Travel is slightly short on the 320mm RFY compared to a stock shock. For some, this means you bottom more often. I do some modifications to them to get that travel pretty much identical to stock models and it seems to help with bottoming.

Riding style, weight, and many other factors must be considered though.

my weight is around 160 lbs, riding style is not aggressive and ill have tracker bars so the riding pos will be upwards.
im looking for shocks that are suitable for city riding.
