Another ? about pod filters.

Most people know that it is difficult to make pod filters work on CV carbs, but are they any good on a slide carburator ? Does anyone know if they would work on stock Honda XL600R carbs ? im not 100% sure, but I think they are round slide carbs

if you use something BIG it will be fine
a lil 2-1/2" pod will kill the hp potential
that said why would you do that the stock set up works well

because I would like to build a street tracker out of it and pod filters just looks so much better. So the biggest K&N filter would work ?

i would say that the biggest pair would work best for max airflow but you need to be ready willing and able to test,tune and re-jet

the stock carbs for that bike are 34 s so you could use a oval pod or a uni

the high perf setup was to swap in 2 36s when we used to race the and then we used the larger uni double foam filter
