Hey Super!!..
well I believe it cost rudy about $800 to chrome this tank because of the bulk order of stuff that went along with this tank.
Usually its between $1000 - $1200 depending on the tank and the prep work that needs to be done. Most chrome platers wont chrome used tanks or used exhausts, apparently the carbon & etc messes up the chrome batch... ( So Im told...)

What bike do do you have?
We were able to mount this Suzuki on to a Honda cb550 with no problems. I bet it will also go on to an xs650 with a bit of mods to the mounting system.
This tank has the "cups" on the tank like a honda.
To fit this on an xs, all you would have to do would be to shave off the cups from the XS frame, drill ahole throught the plate and stick a 6mm thick nut & bolt through the frame , (and tighten with 2 nuts), to act as a stem to hold the "pucks"... Viola...

thanks leon.
sounds like he got a good deal, and for 500 this sounds like a even better one.
the bike i'm working on right now is a honda 175. so i don't think that it would
fit, mybe to big. but will see on my next project. but was thinking of getting my new
sloper tank dipped. i might hold off on it, on this bike. i was just wondering for future
tanks.
thanks later.

Holy Geezzz !!.. That tank would be way to big on a cb175!!...
You should look for a 68 cb350 tank with the rubbers on it!!
