Another crack at making a DOHC "cool"

nice job on the seat, I just went through the same learning process last week....just so happened to also be for a DOHC cb750 build haha.

if you haven't yet, get that seat out in the sun, it's amazing how nice the leather or vinyl shrinks up and knocks out the wrinkles from stitching.....after a few hours in the sun the seat I did looked FAR nicer....

Bike looks great!!! I used a Steel Dragon airbox on the one i built and it seems to work good, bike runs good all through range, but i did go up on jets to 75 and 110 i think.

Those steel dragon boxes look nice.

I have 75/110 jets in right now too. I dropped the clip on my needles one position last night but I haven't taken it out for a ride yet to see if that helped at all.

not at all. I had to cut off the stock tank mounts and make new ones from scratch, and build a series of wooden wedges to widen the tank tunnel a 1/2" so it would fit over the frame. it was a lot of work to fit but totally worth the final product.

Looks like it was worth it. I really like it.

If you ever end up needing to widen another tank I've have good luck with using compressed air. You have brace the tank and block off the edges to give it a "limit" of how far it can expand but it works well.

Thanks! It sounds good. I'm happy with how it turned out. I might slip the pipe off and add some material to the resonator in the future but given how new it is to me the noise hasn't worn on me yet.
