Backfire Deceleration Honda SL350

Be good or be good at it.
Hey just trying to get some more opinions or what may cause backfire on deceleration. I have a 72 Honda SL350 K2. I have checked the norm as far as timming, valves, check carbs jetts, electrical, spark plugs, ect. I have not checked cylinder pressure, float levels. I have ordered new exhuast gaskets thats my next resolution for the back fireing. The bike only backfires on the right cylinder on deceleration when just on a easy ride. It dose not after riding the bike hard or running it wide open like long striaght or at high way speed. It sometimes pops on start up on a cool morning but not after the bike is warm. Im leaning toward the exhuast gasket. Having the exhuast on and off a few times with out replacing the gasket seems it may not be making a tight seal and sucking air back and causing the back fire. If i could get some opinions on this would be great to help resolve this problem. I think im on the right track with the gasket but not for sure.

Loose exhaust clamp hardware or blown seal. Very common, the air getting sucked into the pipe makes the fuel charge that didn't get burned even leaner, and the hot pipe sets it off.

Thats kinda what i was thinking with getting new exhuast gaskets. If that does not change any thing next would be pressure check and pull the head. Weak spring, burnt or dirty valve seat. The bike only has 8xxxx original miles on it so my guess it cant be nothing to major.
