DTT BOTM WINNER
Skyler mentioned to me this weekend the idea of putting together another DTT gathering and I'm happy to host it.


So BBQ & Bike night at my house Saturday August 13th in Little Elm (It's just west of Frisco) I'm going to put the official start time at 6pm or so figuring that it might be a little cooler in the evening, but you're welcome to drop by earlier if you feel like it. I'll try and have extra burgers and whatnot, but bring what you want to grill.


Of course you're encouraged to ride out but all are welcome, bike or none. If you're coming from anywhere south you might be able to chat with Skyler (Replica66) about riding together since he'll be coming from Dallas proper.


I've got plenty of wrenching to do so maybe we'll get some work done, or maybe we'll just sit around, BS, and check out eachothers' bikes. Either way it should be a good time and a chance to meet some folks that you already know face to face.

Yeah, That sounds like fun, I am in for sure. I will leave from Addison so if anybody wants to ride up there we can meet up. I will be on the bike for sure. I will bring a few pounds a brats and some brews. Let me know if you need anything special. PM me the address closer to the event. See you there! Looking forward to seeing everybodies projects.
 
You have to be very crafty ;D , I like bungee cords and zip ties, duct tape is always good too.

Yup, still on. I was planning on sending out refresher PMs to folks that have expressed an interest, or not expressed anything at all.

I'll see yall folks at my house this Saturday. Anyone not have my address?

BTW the grill I've got is just a little gas deal, nothing fancy (like the ones outside Home Depot this time of year) Being that this is Texas and the spiritual home of BBQ I feel the need to warn all of that :)
 
Haha, oops I meant over the coarse of a week. Good glad to see its still on. Looking forward to it. Hell I don't care if we have to roast hot dogs off the heat of our bike engines it will still be fun.
 
Hey all, thank you so much for the invite. Very cool of you. I believe I'll be able to make it. I don't have my bike running yet, but can def drive if anyone else would like to carpool from the downtown Dallas area. Just let me know.

I ripped my bike apart on Sunday due to a broken bolt. I'm working hard to have it running by then. If I don't make it, you can grab a ride with me. I'll send you a PM on Friday if I'm going to be driving.
 
Just sent out the first reminder mssg. It only lets me send 10 messages an hour and I initially invited 20 people.


Of those 20 I've got 4 that know they can't make it

Thanks Kit, was a lot of fun meeting you and everyone. Thanks again for hosting. I'd gladly come back and hang out again in your garage while everyone else works... :) We'll have running bikes too, one day.
