i have a 1971 CL350. so i think i bent my shift fork from what my friends say. i honestly shouldnt have been working on my bike because i was having a bad day it was hot as fuck and i wasnt thinking straight. i was trying to adjust my shifter linkage and shifted it while on the center stand without using the clutch/ so now im paying for it. what i was wanting from you guys is to know how much it would cost to over haul the motor. like replacing everything rubber and any gasket plus the shifter fork. thanks in advance

im sorry i didnt explain more. i had been shifting without a clutch a couple days prior. (practicing with out a clutch) but didnt realize down shifting without a clutch was bad. then my shifter seal started leaking like a cut pig. so thats when i started to take a look at it. i need to replace it but it just poped out so i just pushed it back in and it didnt leak but while i was adjusting the shift linkage when i had the bike on it center stand i shifted without the clutch and it made a loud "clunk" noise and hasnt been able to get out of 2nd gear since.

ok what you should do first then is inspect the shifting mechanism
it's more likely something wrong there than a bent shift fork
you will need the special crank nut socket tool and you will need to strip down the right side, pull the clutch and check that out
factory service manual is a must

sorry kinda forgot to get on here lately still havent looked at it, but you really think its not bent? you said look at the clutch. what might have happened there? broke a plate maybe? also what is that in your profile picture?
