Bike won't start with the electric starter, but will kickstart fine.???

The starter maybe, bad whirring . Bridge the starter cylanoid and see if the starter is kicking!

google what a cylanoid looks like . hold a screwdriver from bolt to bolt bridging them together! it should try to start.

Real bikes are built in garages.
Did you do any rewiring to the bike? Obviously it was done at some point when the Ace bars were put on. Make sure that everything in the head light bucket is plugged in where it's suppose to be. The lead that goes to the solenoid is yellow with a red tracer.

The bike has been running ok since I bought it a few months ago. I even placed a new battery in there for the hell of it last month. I'm really ignorant went it comes to motorcycles. When I press the button, it clicks and you can tell it's making a connection to the battery. When I leave the lights on and press the button, it dims the lights. So obviously there's a connection. I'm starting to think there's something wrong with the charging system. I'm going to test the battery, and if it needs a charge, charge it and see if the same thing happens.
Or a bad / seized starter motor.
Find the solenoid and jump a wire / screwdriver / whatever across the 2 terminals. If the soleniod is bad, this wil turn the starter motor. If it does the same thing as before, your starter motor is bad or there is not enough charge to turn the motor.

sounds like you are not getting enough juice to the starter. Do this try jump starting it with your car . If you hit that on button and the strater kicks then you have found your issue!

If its a new or even old battery that holds a charge... A "click" isnt all he would here. Hear horses, dont think zebras. Check voltage at the battery. If you're at 13+ tan the starter should work. If it doesnt, you have other issues. Like a bad ground, bad relay, bad solenoid, etc... Start small. Its almost always the simple answer my man.

He is new to bikes what are the odds he has a multiey meter laying around! jumper cables and a jump is thinking small then wiring etc !
