Black Hardware

Anyone have a link where I can get some black screws/bolts? Metric of course. Looking to replace nearly all the hardware on my cb100 with black. Better to buy all new hardware and get an anodizing kit?

It's not anodized, but this could be something you can look into. Metric socket cap screws with a black finish. Bolt Depot is pretty cheap too if you are looking for only a few pieces of specific sizes.

Enjoy. :)

Be warned that most of the black hardware out there that is steel is not rust proof and will rust with a quickness.

For example, these :)

You could have them powder coated. You just need to take care installing them.
Anodizing is primarily done on aluminum.

Anyone know of a source for SAE Button head (dome head) bolts in small quantities?

Lowes, Home Depot, Ace Hardware. Fastenal. Tacoma Screw. Harley shops. Farm co-op hardware aisles, tractor dealerships, Tractor Supply Company. Auto parts stores in the little plastic packs.

None of those places carry chrome plated button head stuff except Fastenal and they suck because they only sell quantity. I need 2 of one size and they only want to sell in quantities of 100pcs.

We don't have any Menard's around here. I need 1/4"x20x1/2". At Menards they are $2.35 each for a 10 pack of 3/4" length, they don't have em in 1/2".

They'll ship to your house and then you'll have to use a saw. Still better than buying a thousand of 'em. :)

I spent $50 at the hardware store on bolts last week.

I remember passing you the grey poupon from my limosine on the way there
