I took the rear fender off

Now how do I get this triple off of the frame so I can get the frame blasted?

Isn't there a nut on the BOTTOM of the yokes pivot shaft on old Nortons?

If not, and you are stumped, I bet somebody here knows... If you don't get a timely resply, try searching build threads in the Norton section over on Britbike.com

If there's a nut there, it's covered by a Dunstall steering damper. I bought a 24 pack of Miller High Life and my tools are ready (including a mallet!) so I'm preparing for tomorrow since we're getting a deluge according to the weather guys. I found this http://jevans.com/norton/ which is probably what I'm going to do to this frame until I get all of the resto parts.

Got the bolt off, now what? I think the Norton guys said something about pounding it out with a mallet but it's not budging. I've shot WD40 on it, hopefully that will get it moving.

What bolt? Or is it a nut similar to what is in the pic I posted?
Also, WD-40 is not a pentrating oil. Get some PB Blaster, Kroil, or such.

The nut. I used WD40 as it's at hand. I have some Liquid Wrench and a few other chemicals, I need to dig them out before I can use them.
