Brands of Carb Kits (which for a 67 CB160)

Starting work on a 1967 Honda CB160 Project and everything I have found about Carb Rebuild Kits seems to talk about the bad ones. I have seen some criticism of the Keyster Kit's needles and gaskets. Is there a preferred brand or place to get them? Are there Honda Kits?

Any other suggestions before rebuilding the Carbs?
 
What do you actually need? Try your local Honda dealer and see if they have replacement jets.

Needles and needle jets are a bit more of an issue but rarely need replacing (fortunately).
 
I haven't actually started disassembly. I might not need new jets. Are the Keyster kits pretty good except for the jets?

Thanks for the tip. I wouldn't have thought a Honda dealer would have parts for a bike that old, but I will give it a shot.
 
Swapmeet Louie is spot on. Keyster have a well deserved reputation for being inaccurately machined. Their jets are generally accepted as not flowing the same as a similarly market stock jet and the needles I have checked are not close enough to stock sizes.

When you clean those carbs pay special attention to all the tiny drilled holes in the body. For example there's a tiny hole at the front of the slide in the body that teh pilot jet discharges through and it is usually clogged
 
Translation: Good carb kit = oxymoron. Or a legend/myth. They don't exist.

Just buy what you need if the Honda dealer has parts
