BSA - B44 to A65 tank swap?

I'm looking at buying a new tank for the ol' BSA and have found a 1968 B44 Shooting Star tank. Would this fit on my 1966 A65?
They're pretty close in year and the two frames look pretty similar I'm just not too familiar with the B44. Would it be easy to accomodate the new tank if I end up getting it?

If it's an OIF, the top tube will be around 3" dia.
B44 is only about 1.5" dia.
If you have early A65 with separate oil tank it will be easy fit
